If only change came with a warning. Change affects everyone, everywhere at some point, likely unannounced. That’s why we save money in case of a lost job or purchase life insurance to ensure those we love are cared for if tragedy occurs. These and many other situations happen near constantly in the fast paced world we live in. Be it financial or family, illness or loss, we’ve become accustomed to change.

In the life of someone living with mental Illness, change is a BIG DEAL. If you’re living with a mental illness and struggling with change, however big or small, give yourself some room to breathe. Don’t hold yourself to an unrealistic expectation. Only you know your limits.
